Television Series Director
Ken Yagoda has over 25 years of experience in the Producing and Directing Broadcast Content from commercials to corporate films-from web content to TV shows, it's safe to say that not many people know broadcast the way Ken does. For example, over the last few years, Ken produced and directed hundreds of short format videos for Time Inc brands; Corporate Films for Nike and Dentsu America; Web-content for People .com, Sports Illustrated and Essence Entertainment and, most notably, 8 1/2 hour shows for 1st season of Athlete360.
Yagoda gained acclaimed advertising status as Director of Broadcast Production with Young & Rubicam NY. At Y&R, he oversaw the launch of Robert Redford's Sundance Channel and produced award winning campaigns for such industry leaders as Xerox, AT&T, Dr Pepper, and SONY. In addition to shepherding thousands of commercials, he trained and inspired hundreds of young producers, directors and writers who populate the business today.
Always looking towards the future, Yagoda foresaw the future of new media when he pioneered the concept of "branded-content" with his creation of the long running and critically acclaimed "Dreams" project in collaboration with SONY. "Dreams" was a program of Hi Definition short films created by top directors such as Noam Murro, Bryan Buckley, Sam Bayer and James Gartner using SONY's cutting edge technology. The "Dreams" project premiered in New York, Los Angeles and at the Cannes film festival and continued its successful run for four consecutive years.
Ken Yagoda is not resting on his laurels. He continues to produce broadcast content that paints a picture and captures a story. He continues to inspire and be inspired by not only the work he is doing, but by the work that awaits him in the near future.
